Bangladesh University of Textile Engineering (BUTEX) has announced its Admission Circular for 2025. You can find all the details on their official websites: butex.edu.bd and but.teletalk.com.bd. This notice is for students who want to apply for Undergraduate Programs.You need to fill out the BUTEX Admission Form for 2024-25 within the deadline. Use the Teletalk system to complete your application.
After finishing your application, you can download the Admit Card. It will have the date of the admission test. You need to upload your photo and signature while downloading the admit card.Before the admission test, BUTEX will provide a detailed Seat Plan. Check this plan to know your test location.The Admission Test Result will come out after the test is done. Admission will follow the merit list first, and then the waiting list if needed.

Bangladesh University of Textiles Admission 2023-24
The application process for the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) admission in the 2023-24 session will begin on 01 January 2025. Interested students must complete their applications before the deadline, which is 10 February 2025.

Eligibility for Application

- Bangladeshi Citizenship
You must be a citizen of Bangladesh to apply. - HSC or Equivalent Exam in 2024
You must have passed the HSC or equivalent exam in the year 2024. - Science Group Background
You need to pass both HSC or equivalent and SSC or equivalent exams from the Science group. - Minimum GPA Requirement
Your GPA must be at least 4.50 in both HSC or equivalent and SSC or equivalent exams. - Subject-wise Grade Points
You must get a total of 18.50 grade points in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English in the HSC or equivalent exam. Each subject must have a minimum GPA of 4.50.
This means you must have strong results in science and related subjects to qualify for this application.
How to Apply for BUTEX Admission 2025

Use your mobile phone to send the first SMS in the following format:

Step 2: Send to Teletalk
After typing the SMS correctly, send it to 16222. This is the official number for BUTEX applications.
Step 3: Receive a Reply SMS
Once you send the first SMS, Teletalk will send a reply. In this SMS, they will provide:
- A PIN Number (important for the next steps).
- Information about the Admission Test Fees you need to pay.
Make sure to save this SMS because you will need the PIN for completing the application process.
To send the second SMS, type the following:
BUT YES PIN Mobile Number
For example, you would type: BUT YES 8709900 01xxxxxxx and then send it to the number 16222.
BUTEX Eligible Candidates List
The BUTEX Admission Test 2024-2025 is only for eligible candidates. The list of eligible candidates for 2025 will be released on 20 February 2025. If you are on the eligible list, you can download your admit card from the official admission website at but.teletalk.com.bd.

BUTEX Mark Distribution
The admission test for Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) in 2025 will follow a short syllabus from the HSC and equivalent exams. The test will be in a written format. The marks for each subject will be:
