The Dhaka University Undergraduate Admission Test will take place from January 4, 2025, to February 8, 2025. The specific date for the admission test was shared in a circular from Dhaka University. They published this admission test notice in the last week of December.

Dhaka University Admission Circular 2025

Dhaka University’s admission test for the 2024-25 session will start on January 4, 2025. You can apply online from November 4, 2024, until November 25, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Admission Eligibility

Ka/A Unit (Science Group)

• Eligible students must have passed SSC in 2022 and HSC in 2024.
• Minimum GPA: 3.50 in both SSC and HSC exams, with a combined GPA of 8.00 (including additional subjects).

Kha/B Unit (Humanities Group)

• Students must have passed SSC and HSC, with the latter completed in 2024.
• Minimum GPA: 3.00 in both SSC and HSC exams, with a combined GPA of 7.50.

Ga/C Unit (Business Studies)

• Students from Business Studies, A-Level, Diploma in Business Studies, or Business Management can apply if they passed SSC and HSC in 2024.
• Minimum GPA: 3.50 in both SSC and HSC, with a combined GPA of 7.50.

Cha/F Unit (Fine Arts)

• Students from any group (Humanities, Science, Business, Agricultural Science) who passed SSC in 2023 and HSC in 2024 can apply.
• Minimum GPA: 3.00 in each level, with a combined GPA of 7.00 (including the 4th subject).

Dhaka University Admission Form Fill-Up

To apply for Dhaka University Honors Admission, follow these steps:

1. Go to admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
2. Click on the “login/apply” button.
3. Enter your HSC roll, passing year, board, and SSC roll, then click submit.
4. Check your details and eligible application unit. Click confirm.
5. Upload your scanned photo, personal mobile number, and other necessary information, then confirm.
6. Send an SMS to 16321 to confirm your application.
7. After sending the SMS, you’ll receive a 7-digit confirmation code. Enter it and click confirm.
8. You’ll get a pay slip for payment. Download and print this copy for your records.

Payment Instructions

After you complete the Admission Form, you must pay the Admission Test Fee. You can pay right away or later, but make sure to do it before the deadline. If you don’t pay the fee, your application will not be accepted.

You can pay the application fee through Mobile Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or any Scheduled Bank. Here’s how to pay:

1. Go to your Dashboard.
2. Select your applied unit.
3. Click the Payment button.
4. Choose your preferred Payment Option.
5. Pay the Admission Test Fee.
6. Download the Payment Slip.

DU Admit Card 2025 Download

After completing the online application, Dhaka University will give you an Admit Card. You’ll get a unique Admit Card for each unit, so download a separate Admit Card for each applied unit. The DU Admit Card 2024 will be available starting from February 8, 2024. You can download it up to one hour before the admission test for each unit.

Dhaka University will post a notice about the Admit Card download on the Admission Website, but they won’t send an SMS to your mobile.

When the DU Admit Card 2024 is available, follow these steps to download it using your HSC and SSC information:

1. Visit the Admission Website (admission.eis.du.ac.bd).
2. Go to the Login option.
3. Enter your SSC and HSC details.
4. Press the Submit button.
5. Select the specific unit on your Dashboard.
6. Download your Admit Card.

Note: Download a separate Admit Card for each unit you applied to.

Mark Distribution and Question Pattern

Dhaka University has updated its marking system for admission tests. They have reduced the weight of MCQ and CGPA marks and increased the focus on written exams. The DU Admission Test 2023–24 will last 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a mix of MCQ and written questions. The test will have a total of 100 marks, with 60 for MCQ and 40 for the written part. You’ll have 45 minutes for the MCQ section and 45 minutes for the written section. The exam content will follow the syllabus of the Higher Secondary Examination 2023.

Dhaka University has several admission units, each with a set number of seats. Here’s the seat count for each unit:

• KA Unit: 1765 seats
• KHA Unit: 2200 seats
• GA Unit: 1250 seats
• GHA Unit: 1725 seats
• CHA Unit: 135 seats
• IBA Unit: (seat number not provided)
• Home Economics Unit: 2200 seats
• Technology Unit: 570 seats

DU Seat Plan 2024

Dhaka University will release the seat plan 48 hours (2 days) before each unit’s admission test. The DU Seat Plan 2024 includes all seating details for candidates. To check the seat plan for the KA Unit, log in to the Admission Website or follow the SMS instructions on your Admit Card.

To Check Online:

1. Visit the admission website admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
2. Go to the Login option.
3. Log in using your SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent information.
4. Choose your applied unit.
5. Go to the Seat Plan section.

To Check via SMS:

1. Open your phone’s messaging app.
2. Type: DU <space> Unit Name (e.g., KA, KHA).
3. Send to 16321 (from any mobile phone except GP).

DU Admission Result 2024

Dhaka University will publish the admission results after each unit’s test. The result includes marks from the MCQ, written tests, and your HSC and SSC scores. Only candidates who pass the MCQ section will have their written answer scripts evaluated. If you fail the MCQ, your written answers won’t be reviewed.
